Is Willie Jessop a lying hypocrite?

Dear Readers,

I am totally aghast at how the media has latched onto interviewing Willie Jessop who has been “excommunicated” by Warren Jeffs from the FLDS.  You will remember Willie Jessop along with Anne Wilde and Mary Bachelor being interviewed on such shows as Larry King Live, Dr. Phil, and Oprah last year.  All of them defending the FLDS and the polygamous lifestyle.

NOW, Willie Jessop is saying he would never sanction the marriage of twelve-year olds (or words to that effect).  D-U-U-H!  The following was submitted as evidence in The Reference trial testing the constitutionality of Canada’s law banning polygamy, Feb. 18, 2011–PLEASE NOTE THE DATES THESE TEENS WERE SENT DOWN FROM BOUNTIFUL TO JEFFS!

Shocking allegations point to child smuggling by Bountiful polygamists

Posted for Daphne Bramham:

Documents filed in BC Supreme Court Friday indicate that on three separate occasions in 2004 and 2005, parents from the fundamentalist Mormon community of Bountiful, B.C. took their daughters to the United States to marry Warren Jeffs, the prophet of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

What’s shocking is that two of the girls were only 12 and one was 13. One of the 12-year-olds mothers accompanied her daughter. The 13-year-old’s mother and father participated in the religious wedding ceremony.]

The following picture is from evidence submitted in the trial of Allan Keats, polygamist pedophile, in Texas, 2009.

  1. The email alert for this post refers to a picture of Warren Jeffs kissing a 12 year old, but the link in this post doesn’t show that photo. I’ve archived that photo on my blog at:

There is a link at the end of that post where I found the photos, so if they disappear from blog for whatever reason they should still be available at that link. Also, if you do a Google Images search you will find other sites where those photos have been archived.

Sad isn’t it? If there is one thing I’ve learned in 70 years it is the fact that many people are apathetic, ‘spineless’, ‘gutless’ or all three. And that they either don’t care about anyone but themselves, or, in Oprah’s case, perhaps money is more important than anything? Big ratings becomes more important than human suffering; in this case the suffering of women and children. Sad, yes. And as word warriors we can and, are, doing something to resist.
